DENA RABINOWITZ, PH.D.
Dr. Rabinowitz is a NYS licenced psychologist specializing in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.听She is board certified in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology and is a听Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.听She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated summa cum laude with honors in psychology.听 She then completed both her masters and doctorate degrees听at St. John's University.听 She spent a year of training听in CBT at the NYU Child Study Center.听 She also completed a post-doctoral fellowship听in CBT at the Bio-Behavioral Institute.听 She specializes in anxiety disorders, with particular interest in OCD, and OC-spectrum disorders.听 She has experience treating both children, adolescents,听and adults as well as working with families. While she spends most of her time treating patients directly, she also supervises other psychologists in CBT and teaches an advanced CBT course at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University.听She has published numerous articles, gives frequent听听presentations and workshops, and has been featured on听national TV.
